Volunteering Trip to Costa Rica
We need your support to complete the vocational training school in Costa Rica!
The objective is to complete the sanitation facilities and outstanding construction works on the school. The school is in one of the poorest regions of the country on the Caribbean coast. It is hoped by providing a training school that it will create better prospects and a future for the young people of Limon so that they don’t pursue a criminal career. Currently job prospects for the young people are very sad. We want to give them a chance to make something of their lives and need your help to do this. Help us build the school either by joining us on site in Limon or by making a donation.
You don’t want to do building work? We also need volunteers to teach English and to play football with the children.
Dates: Single Volunteers can come without a group anytime
Groupdates: 7th to the 15th of August 2017
Donation: 350 Euro (for housing and materials) for 9 days
What is included:
Accommodation with host families
Fullboard with host families
Where desired we can organise your airport pick up service and transportation within Costa Rice
Note: This is not a perfectly organised or profit-oriented trip. It is our goal to help the people of Limón finish building their vocational training school. Therefore each participant must pay for their own flight and accommodation (with host family or hotel) as well as for food. If you are interested in participating in this community project as well as discovering the real - not the touristy - Costa Rica, please contact us!
